After just driving back from New York, I wasn't sure that I would be willing to attend FHE tonight, but the movie that was to be shown sounded interesting enough. It turned out to be a 30 minutes video about two guys who go around a few states, interviewing people on the street about who the Mormons are. About ten people showed up and snacks were put out. The video wasn't very good, and there was nothing new about people's impressions or opinions of Mormons. We heard the usual myths and misinformation, while most had good things to say.
Afterwards, I hung around the snack table and spoke to a couple of people I had not met before. Julie, a nurse, was nice and we talked for a while. I also met Doug, who asked questions and seemed very friendly. The new introductions alone made it worth it.
